CONNECT is a heart-led movement dedicated to ending loneliness and fostering real human connection through local wellness experiences. We bring together community, movement, mindfulness, and meaningful moments to help people feel seen, supported, and part of something greater. Whether you're joining us for a beach gathering, a guided meditation, or a shared conversation, CONNECT is about showing up — as you are.
Who can attend a CONNECT event?
Everyone is welcome. CONNECT is an inclusive space for all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience — whether you’re brand new to well-being practices or deeply immersed in them. Our only ask is that you come with an open heart and a willingness to connect with yourself and others.

What happens at a CONNECT event?
Every CONNECT event is a little different, but at the heart of each one is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and belong. Expect a mix of gentle movement, mindfulness practices, authentic conversation, and moments of stillness — all held in a safe, welcoming space. There’s no pressure to perform — just space to be.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Most events are low-fuss — just bring yourself, a water bottle, a yoga mat and an open mind. For outdoor sessions, a picnic rug or blanket is helpful, and we’ll always list any specific items (like journals or props) on the event listing so you’re prepared. Layers for warmth and comfort are always a good idea.
Can I come alone?

Are CONNECT events free or paid?
We offer both! Many of our core community events are available as Pay What Aligns tickets—designed to ensure everyone feels welcome. For deeper, more immersive experiences, we offer ticketed options through CONNECT ICONIC. Each event listing will clearly outline what’s included and whether a ticket price applies.
Why does CONNECT offer Pay what aligns tickets?
Because community should be accessible to all. We believe that movement, mindfulness, and connection are essential to well-being. With the Pay What Aligns model, you have the flexibility to contribute in a way that feels right for you, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage. Your support helps us create a kind, inclusive, and nurturing space for all.
What amount aligns with me?
The amount you choose to contribute is entirely up to you. We welcome your choice. The Pay What Aligns model is designed to ensure everyone can access our events. Your support, however big or small, helps us maintain an inclusive and supportive community for all.
Where do I buy tickets?
All ticketed events can be booked directly through our website. Simply visit the Events page, select the gathering that speaks to you, and follow the booking prompts. You'll receive an email confirmation with everything you need to know before the day.
What is CONNECT ICONIC?
CONNECT ICONIC — is our series of elevated, ticketed experiences that offer deeper immersion, more personalised facilitation, and a touch of the extraordinary. Think stunning venues, soulful practices and unforgettable moments of connection.These events are intentionally curated and may include special guest facilitators, immersive wellness experiences in truely ICONIC locations and a few surprise touches along the way.
What’s your refund policy?
We know life happens. Each event will list its specific cancellation or refund policy, but in general, we’re here to help. If something comes up and you can’t make it, reach out to us as soon as possible — ideally with at least 48 hours' notice — and we’ll do our best to support you. Where possible, we’re happy to move your ticket to another scheduled event of your choice. Our goal is to keep things flexible and fair, while honouring the energy and care that goes into planning each experience.

What do facilitators receive beyond payment?
Our facilitators are not just paid contributors—they’re valued members of a growing movement. Beyond financial payment, facilitators gain community exposure, professional networking, promotion through our platforms, and the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves. This includes visibility across our social channels and a personal listing on our Practitioner Directory, complete with a bio and business links.
Why is being part of The Connect Initiative valuable for sole traders and small businesses?
Sole traders often work in isolation. The Connect Initiative offers a sense of belonging, regular networking, and opportunities to co-create with like-minded practitioners. We’re intentionally building a space where wellness professionals feel seen, supported, and connected.
What kind of social media support do facilitators receive?
Facilitators benefit from regular exposure through our growing social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, and more. We highlight their sessions, cross-promote their businesses, and amplify their voice in the wellness space—growing both their reach and credibility.
How are facilitators represented on the website?
Every active facilitator receives a dedicated listing on our Practitioner Page, which includes their name, photo, short bio, and direct hyperlinks to their business or booking platform. This serves as both a referral engine and an SEO boost for their own brand.
Is there a deeper benefit to being part of this community?
Absolutely. The Connect Initiative is more than a calendar of events—it's a movement to end loneliness and bring people together through healing, mindfulness, and connection. Facilitators are at the heart of this mission, and their contributions create lasting impact in the lives of others and themselves.
Are facilitators fairly compensated for their time and energy?
We are financially compensating all facilitators, and each one agrees to payment terms when joining the initiative. Our aim has always been to operate with integrity, fairness, and sustainability. The financial model supports the long-term viability of The Connect Initiative while still honouring the vital contribution of our facilitators.
