Bronwyn – Calm The Wild Ocean
Bronwyn, the heart behind Calm The Wild Ocean, is passionate about empowering others to step into their fullest potential, live their dreams, and discover the joy of movement. With over 15 years of experience leading meditation and healing circles across Central Victoria, she brings a nurturing and grounded presence to everything she facilitates.
Her background in nursing, complementary medicine, teaching, counselling, Reiki, and hypnotherapy gives her both a wealth of theoretical knowledge and a strong practical foundation. For the past three years, she has been teaching yoga throughout Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula since graduating from Zero Point Yoga. Bronwyn is also an internationally licensed KunYin instructor, guiding women into embodied healing through unchoreographed dance and shifting music that reconnects them somatically back to self.
Her own cancer journey over the past year has only deepened her belief in the healing power of yoga, dance, mindfulness, and meditation. “If it was not for these practices, I would not be where I am now – happy, healthy, and loving life,” she shares.
Bronwyn’s classes are slower, intuitive, and student-paced, with gentle invitations to turn inward and explore the body on a deeper level. She is funny, neurodiverse, intuitive, and occasionally challenging – qualities her students adore. Her love of anatomy, mythology, and folklore weaves seamlessly into a fabric of music, movement, and mindfulness.
Most people come for the joy of movement, stay for the deeply restful meditation, and leave with a full heart (and often a cuppa and chat with Bronwyn afterward).
